Each portrait is created using high-quality Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper and professional-grade pastels including Faber-Castell Pitt, Caran d’Ache, Derwent and PanPastel.
Portraits typically feature a head profile or head and chest view, with a minimal background. Backgrounds are usually a solid color or a subtle ombre effect (lighter behind the subject, darkening toward the edges), which enhances your pet’s features without distraction. while I focus on simple compositions, I am open to attempting more detailed backgrounds upon request.
Artwork comes mounted on acid-free matboard for protection and easy framing.
Frame is not included. I do recommend using museum glass when framing to protect against fading over time.
